When speaking in public, when writing a blog post, when writing a Tweet YOU have six seconds to catch the audience\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n

I’ve seen this number quoted as fact in several places including Daily Blog Tips<\/a>, but I don’t think we need a statistic to prove the point. Just look at all the microblogs cropping up to see that readers appreciate quick snippets of info. With a microblog there’s no commitment necessary. Instead, we can be entertained and informed in a quick bit of time. <\/p>\n

If you don’t know what I mean, check out these four blogs (some of my favorites). And even if you do know what I mean when I say “microblogging,” you should check them out anyway. It will only take a few seconds.<\/p>\n
